People who are exposed to a person with...

mycoplasma pneumonia chest x ray

Is pneumonia contagious? Yes, yes, but it is less contagious than most people think. Cold virus that started coughing in the first place is contagious. But the pneumonia part of the disease down into the lungs is much less contagious. People who are exposed to a person with pneumonia may catch the normal cough and cold symptoms of the virus, but usually do not progress to pneumonia. Formation of pneumonia is not determined by the particular purchase strattera cold virus or bacteria, that person has, and on the sensitivity of each person in their lungs. So just because someone in your home or school, pneumonia and antibiotics, does not mean everything else in the vicinity of the cough has pneumonia. Wait and see how the disease progresses before asking your doctor for antibiotics. .
